Beauty Secrets for the Round Faced Girl

I just got this face primer/hilighter and I am completely obsessed. I bought it in shade 61 which is mostly an off-white, and it creates a beautiful glow whether mixed with my foundation, worn alone, or used as a hilighter. When used as a hilighter I apply it to the center of my forehead, center of my nose, and directly above my cheekbones. At $16 it is well worth the price and may be my new favorite product.

I bought a two pack of this Covergirl Oulast Lipstain last time I was at Costco, and for the price, I think it works pretty well. Its very easy to apply with its felt tip applicator, and smells great. It lasts for about 2 hours, but towards the end of that time period starts to look a little spotty. Comes in a variety of colors so there is one for every skin tone. The two I have are in mauve and Berry. I paid $10 for a two pack at Costco which also came with 2 clear lipshines to put over the stain to make it appear more like a gloss. I believe at drugstores these stains run about $8 each. Not the best Lipstain Ive tried, but a good product if you cant afford to spend a lot.

I recently tried out this primer from Sephora and cant say Im a fan. I purchased it in the Luminizer tone, hoping it would create a glow if mixed with my foundation or worn alone. I didn’t see any noticeable difference after putting it on, and I also don’t think it helped my foundation go on any smoother. This might be a good product to try if you have very uneven skin and need a primer to even it out before applying foundation, but otherwise I would not waste your money. At $16 its not too expensive, especially compared to other primers, but it didn’t do it for me.

I recently bought Sephora LipStain for the first time and I am obsessed. It lasts forever, goes on smooth and shiny, and is only $12. It can be a bit messy and truly does stain, so if you are using a dark color you have to be especially careful. I have it in Classic beige and Infinite Rose. They have 5 additional colors available. Highly recommend.
